Manufactured from 1541 steel, Strange S/S Street axles and S/T Street/Strip axles are the strongest induction hardened axles available. Strange S/T axles surpass NHRA & IHRA standards. Call for custom ordering information.


Lakewood Bellhousings are manufactured through a hydraulic forming process known as hydroforming. This process minimizes the thinning of material as the bellhousing is being formed. Hydroforming allows the maintaining of proper material thickness in critical areas. All bellhousings are manufactured from high quality 1/4'' thick steel and stress relieved after forming, resulting in a stronger bellhousing. Lakewood Bellhousings have been tested and meet or exceed S.F.I. Spec. 6.1, when used with approved block plate. Lakewood Bellhousings are designed to contain a clutch or flywheel explosion with a possible deformation or elongation of the housing. All bellhousings include the block plate and are marked with an S.F.I. Spec. 6.1 serial number. These bellhousings are designed to fit most passenger car applications as listed. Finished in a safety red enamel.

Made from today's toughest aerospace composites. Weighing less than 5 lbs, including all hardware. Designed to fit under the OEM floorboards and eliminate the expensive cost of aftermarket heavy cast aluminum bell housings and cases. Installation is fast and simple utilizing just 4 special bolts and a kevlar strap (included in package with instructions). Meets S.F.I. specifications 30.1 Flexplate shield (excluding Part #170-826) and specification 4.1. Transmission shield.

The patented ATI Super Damper is the only damper designed exclusively for high rpm performance engines. The proven elastomer design is actually two dampers in one: a 4'' diameter and a 7'' diameter damper contained in two shells that bolt to the crank hub. The inner and outer shells are available in steel and in aluminum to contain the steel inertia weight. The inertia weight has eight computer machined grooves to retain the proper durometer O-rings (dyno tested for each application), and installed at ATI. O-ring life has been tested to over two million cycles in Winston Cup competition and 10 years in drag racing engines. The unit is rebuildable to new specifications by installing new O-rings. Extensive dyno and on-track testing has proven the Super Damper far superior to all other designs, especially on engines that turn over 6000 rpm, and is used on nearly 100% of all Winston Cup engines. Shells are black zinc chromate finished, with computer controlled, laser engraved 360° timing marks. Exceeds SFI 18.1 specs.

 

 


Meziere's one piece design is stronger and more durable than any two piece design. This proprietary manufacturing process uses state of the art machining and hardening techniques to ensure superior strength and concentricity. Research has shown that many starter failures are caused by mass produced flex plates that are out of round. No matter the quality of the starter, it has to mesh with the flex plate perfectly. There is no better product on the market! SFI certified 29.1 and weighs 6.3 lbs.
